Dani Nuchereno is a storyteller drawn to life’s liminal spaces—whether between the mystical and the mundane or the tension between where we are, where we want to be, and where we’re allowed to be. Specializing in queer urban fantasy romance, her fiction is rich with atmospheric world-building, natural dialogue, and characters who’ve lived full lives before their appearance on the page. Her creative non-fiction explores the intersections of belonging, transformation, and grief, weaving personal experience with larger cultural narratives. She is also passionate about fostering literary communities, serving as the Director of Alumni Relations for the Harvard Extension School Creative Writing and Literature Student Society (CWLSS) and running T.G.I.F. (Think Generative, It’s Friday), a weekly generative writing workshop.
